By Troy
Just received the Radio yesterday. Was able to program it up with no issues. So far seems to work just fine. We will see how it holds up long term but seems to be built real well. Hopefully a good case will be available soon for the radio.

By John
Seems like a great radio so far. I am using it in narrow band on a commercial frequency and it is working quite well. I own this and the 3318D unit and am very impressed with the Anytone brand.

By Doug
The radio works great. I have a Wouxun, Boafeng and Anytone now, and the Anytone is the star.

I've got radios made by Wouxun and Baofeng, this one seems to be of higher quality and the transceiver is as good or better than the others. Using it for a mix of public safety and amateur frequencies and it hasn't skipped a beat. Just got the programming software from RT Systems, and it makes for a great combo. Best ChiCom radio for the money at the moment and a real bargain for what you get.

I have had this radio for several days now and I absolutely love it. Audio reports are great right out of the box with no modifications needed. Programming is a snap using the keypad and there are even more little hidden features in the software one of which is reverse burst to eliminate tail squelch on receive. Yay! Receive audio is excellent as well. It looks like Anytone will be my go to brand from now on.

Received my radio. Very impressed with it. The manual leaves out a few things, but itís a great radio.

1s1s1s1s0sAmazing For The Price
By Thomas
More expensive than Baofeng, but receive sensitivity & receive audio quality is miles better and worth the extra cost. It's also not fussy about hot antennas like the Baofengs are. Transmit audio quality gets good reports. Stock software works easily for programming. Button on the side to momentarily open squelch is really slick! Scan speed is great. I have run the crap out of mine since I got it, all around the house. At this price point, a "click-click" channel selector knob will be less than robust. That is what has finally started to wear out on mine. It doesn't change the frequency for a few clicks, and also sometimes fails to reverse the direction of the scanning. A pair of channel up/down buttons would be an improvement in durability. That is the only gripe I have after many hours of use. An excellent value!
