Radio distributor Wouxun.US is now ImportCommunications.com
Wouxun.US is my domain name. It is not connected with Wouxun-China other than the fact I sell over 500 Wouxun radios per month.
Wouxun-China does not like the fact that other brands of radios are associated with this web site so we are changing over to Import Communications.
Any questions about products on this site should be directed to info@importcommunications.com only.
Very small and very light! Very easy to program channels without a lot of guessing. I am extremely pleased with mine for the price! Battery is easy to change and it would be easy to carry a couple of charged cells for chageout if needed in the field. Operation is simple and easy. I rate 4 stars as I find only two shortcomings: The lowest "volume" setting can still be loud in a quiet place. The second is no DTMF pad for those people wanting to use it with an "autopatch". (This is trivial! Doesn't EVERONE have a cell phone now? I don't think anyone should be without one as a backup "spare" radio! Sandy W5TVW
Baofeng radios are great
By Richard
The little Baofeng radios are great. I was in our town's Wal-Mart parking lot in Pennsylvania yesterday speaking with a guy in Florida via a repeater in a tall building in Philly 25 miles away. In our club there was a lot of poo-pooing the 2watts output. Now that they see what they can do with 2watts, there's no more poo-pooing on the power output.
